Thunderbolts #120
This is one of the funniest comics I’ve read in ages, and my first ever Thunderbolt issue… I mean, who the hell doesn’t laugh out loud at Norman Osborn stating “Note to self, I must do more dictations in the nude, the ideas flow more freely” haha
This comic isn’t for everyone, but if you hated Ironman over the last year, like supervillians and think eating children is funny, like me, then pick up the latest issue.
I haven’t got the last issue to go on…
but basically the Thunderbolts are supervillians under the government and Ironmans thumb, hunting down rogue heroes under the command of Norman Osborn aka the green goblin. This issue see’s their minds being messed with by some prisoners, but the real fun parts are Norman going Goblin on everyones arse, the oneliner’s from the background characters and the fact I heard venom ate some people last issue. “Why are we guarding this elevator…” “Because the freaky cannibal and guy with the sword are on the other side of the facility” haha I giggled all the way through the issue.

Avengers/Invaders #1
I was looking forward to this for months, ever since I saw Alex Ross’s sketchs in wizard, I mean look at it, World War 2 Captain America and the Invaders coming into the present to meet the New Avengers and hopefully spit in IronSkrulls face…
But the issue didn’t do that, the story was spread like a thin sandwich, there wasn’t a big punch of excitement and I didn’t feel as excited after reading it as I thought I would. Spiderman was funny, Bucky had his moments, but the whole thing wasn’t what I was expecting and when I got my head around that, it was a fairly decent comic…. But heres hoping it grows into something much more epic.
Essentially the Invaders During World War 2 get lost in a green mist after being attacked by Nazi’s, only to find their way to present day New York in the middle of Spiderman battling the Thunderbolts. Then both sides collide and after the Invaders kick their arses they flee into the night to figure out what happened…wow…hmmm Fingers crossed it’s going to build up into something more.

Transformers the Movie – Reign of Starscream#1
It’s a sequal to last years live action movie, and so #1 lays out some of the secret origins before the movie and during the film utill we are ready for the adventure afterwards. Alex Milne does a great job of handling the Movie Bots before they take earthmodes and afterwards, it’s no easy feat I can tell you (as you know I did it for Titan early this year), so the arts solid and the story…well the story does exactly what it says on the tin.
The new Movie universe is fairly unexplored, so it’s great to see characters getting fleshed out, the designs for the autobot and decepticon spaceships, cybertron itself while revistiting action scenes taken directly from the film. My only worry is that because the sequal is looming, how much growth can actually happen in this limited series. Don’t expect Unicron to turn up and eat us, or Cosmos to discover some remant of the AllSpark and be transformed into Cosmos-prime, but do expect some awesome Starscream action.

Abe Sapien – The Drowning#4
If you like hellboy or dark indie’ horror, then pick it up. It’s slow paced, classic Mignola and hits it’s targets with perfect aim.
The Drowning tells the tale of Abe’s first solo adventure, dealing with a body hopping ancient evil from the days of Lemuria and Hyperboria, a Leapurs curse, fat midgets and the calling of the sea. The arts stylish but niche, I love it but many may not, but that’s why you buy a Hellboy’esq book, because you want something different and Abe certainly is it. Don’t expect quick laughs or busty babes, it’s horror, noir and mythology, I like it J

Do YOU like Girls with Big Booberries, Booberries that just keep getting bigger and bigger?
lol well recently I’ve been producing short comics for a new online publisher who specialises in girls getting bigger, and they have LOADS of comics by other talented artists as well.

Personally I like chests of all sizes, it depends how the lovely girl uses them
