I've debated this with mates in the buisness a few times, how easily would the Live Action TF's, which frankly are over-complicated, translate into their own cartoon serise.

After seeing recent Jazz [link] which was influenced partly by the stylish "animated" approach, i took to breaking down the basic elements of LiveAction Jazz.
Theres lots of componants and parts to the Live Action designs which frankly leave TF's open to getting killed/deactivated far too easily, exposed pipes and mechanisms which are wy too delicate, TF's have to have armour as well as being able to transform....
So bearing that in mind i stuck to an animated feel and took the original designs and made them more compact and Battle Ready
