So other than "You're hired", did they give you any other feedback about how they wanted you to draw their book or was it like a "just do what you do, dude" kinda deal?

each company and editor run things differently.... but in this instance i was told they liked my early drafts and put me straight to work on the Jetfire/Jetstorm comic before the Arrival serise was even started. I got access to referance and character designs before i had seen any of the show and went to work on it.
but i've workd for other companys who never gave you any referance material
