so you lot have had lots of babes recently, time for a bit of nerdy love for the old Transformers. These are the bots before they ever went to earth in the populer serise War Within, in this picture we have - Springer, Cliffjumper, Ramhorn (i think), Blaster, Boss, perceptor, sludge, wheeljack, Cup and finally Magnus (pre ultraarmour).

i hope to colour this if i ever have the time

Ye gods, I'm so bloody ancient I remember when the Transformers first hit the scene! I think dinosaurs were still walking the planet back then...

Nice tribute!

My fave incarnation was the Beast Machines series, animated right here in Canada

thats when i originally got into TF's back in the 80's when they first came out, i dig the Beastmachines serise to, it's not to populer but like like the enviromental overtones

Not kind, but honest.. Its good that you can admit your love of comic book art as nerdy as it can be, I know some artists who'd never show to contrasting tastes that they have with their art on da, instead they make alter accounts to post there mother work because they are ashamed of it(this is my second account, had to lose some stalkers, so dont worry, Im not really a newb deviant.. Man I miss page views, anyway).. Good on you

i couldnt ever draw anything i was ashamed of, heck i make a living drawing erotica/porn at the moment and i'm proud of that. BUT something like Transformes can become Nerdy, their's hundreds of thousands of characters in many differnt continuitys and if you know them all lol.....hence i have a laugh and make light of it.

i think i've probably mentioned it before, but i really like how you interperate war within designs. they never seemed like designs that would work well with your style, but you pull it off well. ^^

thats such a compliment and thankyou very much. I do tend to only draw Prime..because he's my fav bot of course, but when i draw the others i always try to get their character across, so their designs are more about expressing them than looking right....thats how i approach it anyway

Now IDW has released an Alternate WW universe with a differnt prime and megatron lol so i have to learn how to draw them now
